GAM entered into a Tenancy Agreement with Sapura and took over Assembly Plant from Masz Sdn. Bhd.

GAM was awarded the first recipient of the Manufacturing License of Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) on 20 September 2013.
OUR JOURNEY
The journey of Go Auto was not without its challenges, and its early days were marked by uncertainty, setbacks, and determination. Founded in 2013 by a group of automotive engineers, none other than our co-founders, the company set out to disrupt the automotive industry with its ambitious vision of becoming one of the homegrown automotive powerhouses. From its humble beginnings in a small office in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, to its meteoric rise among the market leaders, the story of Go Auto is a testament to the power of entrepreneurship, perseverance, and innovation.
Our Journey So Far

GAM entered into a Distribution Agreement with GWM. The new agreement superseded the previous agreement between GOSS and GWM.

Assembled and sold our 2nd SUV, Haval M4.

GAM signed an MoU with MITI to be the anchor company for the implementation of vendor development program.

Expanded our distribution network to Cambodia.

Rebranded GOSS to Go Auto Sales (GAS) Sdn. Bhd.

- GAM entered into a Distribution Agreement with Higer Bus (Higer) Co. Ltd.
- Introduction of our 3rd SUV, Haval H2
- Exported 1,500 Haval M4 to Cambodia
2017

GAM expanded the business model and entered into a Contract Assembly Agreement with Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle (M) Sdn. Bhd. to assemble Dongfeng CV.

Assembled our first Higer van.

Expanded our distribution network to Batam, Indonesia and Brunei.

Rebranded Haval M4 to Haval H1.

Haval (M) Sdn. Bhd. was founded on 26 September 2017.

Go Bremen Motors (GBM) Sdn. Bhd. was established on 19 December 2017.

- GAM entered into a Contract Assembly Agreement with Ottimo Technologies Sdn. Bhd. to assemble Ottimo 2 wheelers
- GAM entered into a Contract Assembly Agreement with MPire Motor Sdn. Bhd. to assemble Foton van.
- GAM entered into a Contract Assembly Agreement with Nazamax Sdn. Bhd. to assemble Urban Warrior (custom pick up).
- Go Exim (GE) Sdn. Bhd. entered an agreement with Giant Motor Myanmar (GMM) Co. Ltd. to manufacture, assemble and sell GWM and Borgward in Myanmar.
- GBM entered into a Distribution Agreement with Borgward Automotive (China) Co. Ltd.
2019

GAM entered into a Contract Assembly Agreement with DRB Hicom Commercial Vehicle Sdn. Bhd. to assemble Tata lorry.

GAM entered into a Contract Assembly Agreement with Daju Motors Sdn. Bhd. to assemble TVS 2-wheelers.

Developed 2nd factory in Myanmar.

The first 100 units of Borgward BX5 were sold.

Rebranded Haval (M) Sdn. Bhd. to Go Auto Global (GAG) Sdn. Bhd.

GAG entered into a Distribution Agreement with GWM. The new agreement superseded the previous agreement between GAM and GWM.

GAG appointed GAM as the contract assembler.

GoAuto Group (GAGr) Sdn. Bhd., a holding company of Go Auto Group was established on 16 July 2021.

EV Auto Works (EAW) Sdn. Bhd. was established on 04 August 2021.

EAW has signed an MoU with Du Power New Energy Technical Co. Ltd. to be the Malaysia agent for Du Power Flexible Fast Charging Station.

Neta V was pre-launched on 03 May 2023. The model hits 100 bookings during its debut in the Malaysia Autoshow 2023, 04-07 May 2023.

- Go Auto has entered into a strategic CKD (Completely Knocked Down) collaboration with Hozon Auto, a leading player in the electric vehicle (EV).
- Intro Synergy Sdn. Bhd. (ISSB) proudly introduced the Neta X, an advanced electric vehicle (EV), marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to sustainable mobility solutions.
